Alabaster Wedding Gown

I was worried the silk crepe back satin would feel too heavy for a long gown, but it drapes like liquid and the silk crepe de chine lining is so smooth against my skin. The slip silhouette is flirtatious without being over the top, which is exactly what I wanted.

The silk crepe back satin has this weighted drape that makes it feel far more expensive than it was, and the crepe de chine lining kept me cool through a long reception. I'm 5'4" and only needed a small hem, so it hit just above the floor exactly as pictured.

Wore this for my courthouse ceremony and the silk crepe de chine lining felt cool against my skin all day, no itchiness at all. The slip silhouette is elegant without being fussy, and the longer length made it feel more bridal than lingerie.
