I wore this under a slip dress for a wedding and got three compliments before dinner. The red is a true vampy red, not orangey, and the ribbon lacing holds a cinch without digging in.
The Edwardian-inspired ribbon lacing cinches way better than my old zip-up corset, and it stays put through a whole night of dancing. It's surprisingly comfortable for an underbust piece, no digging at all.
The ribbon lacing takes a minute to tighten but the fit is so adjustable I can wear it loose over a dress or cinched under a blouse. The red is deeper in person than the photos, more oxblood than cherry. Easily the most comfortable corset I've worn.
