The cuban heel on these is way more dramatic than I expected, and the keyhole welt gives that authentic vintage finish I was after. Silicone wash keeps them from slipping, which is a nice touch for a fully fashioned pair.
The hand-sewn backseam on these is genuinely straight, which seems rare at this price. The cuban heel is dramatic without looking costumey, and the silicone wash kept them from sliding down all evening.
I wore these to a holiday party and the cuban heel got compliments all night. The ultra-sheer finish looks almost invisible against skin, but that high heel detail still reads as properly vintage.
